Book Reviews

MedHum | Daily Dose is not currently accepting submissions as we prepare to relaunch in 2018 with a new format. Please stay tuned for updated CFPs coming this fall!

Interested in medical humanities literature? Like reading and reviewing books? We regularly publish reviews of academic and popular non-fiction titles in a variety of fields which all converge in the medical humanities, as well as review of fiction and media with a medical humanities slant. For a full list of areas in which we review, please see our review page. For specific titles we have already identified for potential review see our GoodReads account. We actively solicit review books from authors and publishers as well as accepting suggestions from reviewers for titles they would be interested in reviewing.

If you’re interested in reviewing for us, please complete the reviewer application form below. Undergraduate and graduate students with strong writing skills are encouraged to apply. Our book review editor will follow up by email within one month.

While the MedHum Fiction | Daily Dose does not provide financial remuneration for book reviews, our reviewers are given a byline, receive a review copy of assigned titles, and retain copyright and republication rights to all of their reviews published on the blog.
